Garbage is a consequence of human activities and the increase in population and economic growth. Currently, waste management in most areas still causes complex problems to control. Uncontrolled landfills occur as a logical consequence of human activities and industrialization, which then impact environmental issues such as the beauty of the city, public health, and the occurrence of methane gas explosion disasters, landslides, air pollution due to open burning, and others.
Garbage is the remains of food, drinks, cardboard, boxes, plastic, and all materials no longer needed. For example, if you finish eating a cake wrapped in plastic, this new plastic wrap is trash. It would be better if the packaging could be recycled to become something valuable and reused. But actually, waste can be divided into several types, namely:
- Garbage by shape
- Garbage by source
- Garbage, according to its decomposition
Garbage has both positive and negative impacts. The positive impact of waste: easy to recycle, can be used as plant fertilizer and can increase income, the processing is relatively easy. The negative impact of waste is the impact on health, the impact on the environment, and social and economic conditions.
