Madrasah School Operational Assistance Fund by The Ministry of Religious Affairs of Demak District at Madrasah Aliyah AL AHROM
MAS AL AHROM, Demak — Fund BOP (Bantuan Operasional Pendidikan) on RA (Raudhatul Athfal) and BOS (Bantuan Operasional Sekolah) in Madrasah in 2020 was again provided by the Ministry of Religion (Kementrian Agama). This program is a national program of Indonesia that aims to ease the burden on the Indonesian people for the financing of affordable and quality education.
This program was implemented by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Demak Regency, Central Java Province through madrasah government analysts who later the funds must be managed properly and distributed in accordance with the prevailing regulatory mechanism. In accordance with the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Education No. 2971 of 2020 on the Second amendment to the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Education No. 7330 of 2019 on Technical Guidance on The Management of Educational Operational Assistance in Raudlatul Athfal and School Operational Assistance in Madrasah.
The filing and validation of BOS funding this year for Karangtengah sub-district and Sayung sub-district was held in Madrasah Aliyah AL AHROM located at Jl. Nangka No.45 Karangsari Village, Karangtengah District, Demak Regency. Held on Friday, September 04, 2020, from 07.30 to 16.00 West Indonesia Time.

Bos’s funding check process greatly helps Madrasah’s operational costs, reduces dropout rates, increases the Rough Participation Rate/Angka Partisipasi Kasar (APK), and provides equal opportunities for disadvantaged students to get affordable and quality education services. Therefore, it is necessary to file for bos funding to be distributed from the Ministry of Religious Affairs to Madrasah respectively. In addition, because this program is a form of government impartiality for disadvantaged students to help with their tuition bills.

Therefore, all madrasas can manage BOS funds professionally, transparently and accountablely. Madrasah is also required to draw up an Annual Work Plan/Rencana Kerja Tahunan (CTR) in the form of the Madrasah Activity plan and Budget/Rencana Kegiatan dan Anggaran Madrasah (RKAM), of which BOS funds are part of the preparation within the RKAM, and must have a Medium Term Plan drawn up 4 years.
